The W210 E-Class is launched in 1996, brought the mid-size Mercedes firmly into the upper end of the luxury market.
The W211 E-Class is launched in 2002 and it was great evolution of the previous W210 model and was considered as rival of BMW 5-Series. In 2007 the diesel version of the E-Class was rebadged from CDI (Common rail Direct Injection) to Bluetec technology.
The W212 E-Class is replaced the W211 in 2009. The E-Class is the bestselling Mercedes-Benz model worldwide.
