Volkswagen Beetle Owners Manual
The Volkswagen Beetle, also known as the Volkswagen Type 1, was an economy car produced by the German auto maker Volkswagen (VW) from 1938 until 2003. It used an air cooled rear engined rear wheel drive (RR layout). Over 21 million Beetles were produced in all.
The Volkswagen New Beetle was introduced by Volkswagen in 1998, drawing heavy inspiration from the exterior design of the original VW Beetle. Unlike the Beetle, the VW New Beetle has its engine in the front driving the front wheels and luggage storage in the rear. In May 2010, Volkswagen (VW) announced that production of the New Beetle will cease in 2010. Volkswagen Beetle sales boomed in the 1960s, thanks to clever advertising campaigns, and the VW Beetle's reputation for reliability and sturdiness. On 17 February 1972, when Beetle No. 15,007,034 was produced, VW Beetle production surpassed that of the previous record holder, the Ford Model T. By 1973, total production was over 16 million, and by 23 June 1992, over 21 million had been produced. As of 2009, the VW Beetle is arguably the world's best-selling car design. More units of the Toyota Corolla brand have been sold.

Volkswagen Bora Owners Manual
The VW Bora is a good family car and injects some much-needed style into the small family saloon sector. Bora name didn’t catch on and Volkswagen returned to the Jetta name it used on its booted-Golf from way back in the 1970s. It’s based on the Golf, so shares some its best attributes, like a pleasant interior, direct steering and some punchy PD diesel engines for performance and economy. The model was produced from 1999 to 2005 and the only thorn in its side is Seat's Toledo, which offers the same, but undercutting it on used market.
The Volkswagen Bora was simply the Jetta with different badges. While the Golf was intended to compete with less pretentious rivals VW pitched the Bora at more lofty targets, like the 3-Series BMW, Volvo S40 and Lexus IS200.
The main rivals of Bora was SAAB 9-3 sedan, Peugeot 406 sedan and Mazda6 sedan.

The Volkswagen Golf is a compact car manufactured by Volkswagen since 1974 and marketed worldwide across seven generations, in various body configurations and under various nameplates - as the Volkswagen Rabbit in the United States and Canada (Mk1 and Mk5), and as the Volkswagen Caribe in Mexico (Mk1).
The front-wheel drive Volkswagen Golf was Volkswagen's first successful replacement for the air-cooled Volkswagen Beetle. Historically, it is Volkswagen's best-selling model and the world's third best-selling model, with more than 25 million built by 2007. Nevertheless the Volkswagen Golf Mk 6 and the Golf Mk 1 don't have a single part in common, except the name.
Most production of the Volkswagen Golf was initially in the 3-door hatchback style. Other variants include a 5-door hatchback, estate/wagon (Variant, from 1993), convertible (Cabriolet and Cabrio, 1979–2002), and a Volkswagen Golf-derived notchback saloon/sedan, variously called Volkswagen Jetta, Volkswagen Vento or Volkswagen Bora (from 1979). The cars have filled many market segments, from basic personal cars, to high-performance hot hatches. The Golf name derives from the German word for Gulf Stream — and the period in its history when VW named vehicles after prominent winds, including also the Passat (after the German word for Trade wind), Jetta (after the Jet stream), Bora (after Bora) and Scirocco (after Sirocco). "Golf" is also a sport, a theme that is shared with the Volkswagen Polo.
